It's sad but true that the Conservative Party does not campaign on conservative values but mainly on the premise that they are "not quite as bad" as the Liberals. O'Toole coming out in favour of carbon taxes recently should end his chances of becoming PM.
It can't hurt to check out Sloan's new Party although I like what I read about the PPC.
As a lifelong conservative, I can comfortably state that O'Toole, Rempel, Scheer, MacKay, Chong et al have proven that the CPC has been subverted with left-wing ideology, complete with cancel-culture, attacking their own, politically correct "woke-ism", and a pandering to Islam. The CPC IS NO LONGER CONSERVATIVE!! They're not "Liberal lite", but "Liberal 2.0". Max Bernier was the only reason to show up at the polls ... UNTIL NOW. Derek Sloan would make a great PM, no matter what the raving lunatic, "sacfat"-the-commie says to the contrary.
I am disappointed to read that Derek Sloan turned down Bernier’s invitation to join the PPC. By starting a new party, all he will accomplish is splitting the vote that will assure that our man-child Trudeau again wins the next election.
Trudeau is destroying this country, and we need politicians who will make the well-being of the country and the people a priority and not that of their personal ambitions.
