FUEL COST + CARBON TAX PROTEST
January 7-8, 2023
We are asking everyone to take the weekend off and stay home with family. Refuse to purchase fuel. Fill up 3 days prior and make sure to have full tank (for Monday). Boycott all gas stations for the entire weekend IF POSSIBLE.
January 9, 2023
Province-wide convoys/protests to Queens Park in Toronto. FIVE CONVOYS (Brockville/Kingston, Peterborough, Barrie/Orillia, Niagara/Hamilton, Windsor/Sarina/London). All convoys will meet up at Vaughan Mills in Toronto and gather but each convoy will have its own planned route down to Queens Park.
This protest/demonstration is NOT freedom movement based. This is NOT to protest mandates or vaccine issues. We are asking everyone to keep this strictly related to fuel cost and carbon tax as this is something almost ALL CANADIANS can agree on regardless of vax status or thoughts on that. Asking for no vulgar language (F Trudeau) so this can be family friendly and everyone feels welcome. This demonstration is NOT to be based at any one individual as politicians in both provincial and federal governments have the choice to get rid of carbon tax and protect their citizens from bankruptcy and soaring inflation.
Asking everyone to boycott pumps completely for weekend of January 7-8, 2023 with our demonstration occurring Monday January 9th.
Book the day off work! Plan it with your coworkers to plan a walkout for the day to help build the momentum of the protest. Province wide job walkouts and strikes are needed to support this. Inviting all truck drivers, union/trade workers, every citizen is welcome to join! This protest is 100% legal as we will NOT be blockading any streets or impeding traffic or emergency services. We are planning to be around Queens Park by 2PM. Please plan to stay until 6-7PM.

NOTE: Doug Ford HAS extended the Carbon Tax cut for Ontarian s… however he had only cut the tax by 40% for us. He can do 100% and it’s time he does!
